Ruto Mocks Kalonzo's Meeting with Gachagua
President Ruto jokes about Kalonzo's visit
President William Ruto has mocked Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka's visit to Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua's home in Wamunyoro.
Ruto suggested that Kalonzo would face humiliating questions, similar to those asked in 2022 when opposition leaders sought a running mate for Raila Odinga.
Opposition Unity Efforts
Kalonzo said the meeting with Gachagua was part of the opposition's efforts to build unity, while Gachagua described their discussions as focusing on the country's liberation and the formation of a sixth administration.
